Anistene Geraldine Tabler, age 70 of Canton, Ohio passed away suddenly on Thursday, June 14, 2018 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Anistene was born in Canton, Ohio on April 18, 1948 a daughter of the late William and Virgie (Mayle) Tabler.
Anistene is survived by 3 sons, Emard (Tiffany) Croston Jr. (Victoria, Grant) of Charlotte NC, Paul (Tammy) Croston (Elizabeth, Sarah, Rebecca) of Minerva, Steven (Heidi) Croston (Kayla, Kyle) of Massillon; brothers Samuel (Connie) Tabler of Minerva, Gary (Rosemary) Culberson of Canton; sister Ella (Gilbert) Norris of Minerva; nieces and nephew Amy (Matthew) Russell, Cassandra Norris, and Gabriel (Janet) Norris.
She was a member of Beit HaKavod Messianic Synagogue in Canton, Ohio and was active in the Allegheny Lenape Indian Council and many other significant community initiatives. During her lifetime she received her Bachelor of Arts in Education, Masters of Arts in Theology and was pursuing her PHd in Theology.
Funeral Services will be held at Canton Freewill Baptist Church 2817 Harmont Ave NE Canton, Ohio on Monday June 18, 2018 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Gabriel Norris officiating. Burial will follow at Bethlehem Cemetery in Malvern, Ohio. Calling hours will be held in the Canton Freewill Baptist Church on Saturday June 16, 2018 5pm-7pm and Sunday June 17, 2018 5pm-7pm and Monday one hour before services.
