Anna Elizabeth Lane, 88, of Minerva, passed away Monday, July 20th, 2015 at Minerva Eldercare, following a short illness.

Anna was born in Minerva, OH on January 21, 1927,the daughter of the late Lloyd Ray and Lillian B (Kandel) Fletcher.

She was a member of Minerva United Methodist Church, a member of Great Trail Chapter D. A. R., and Minerva Community Meals.

Anna's hobby was painting and her artwork has now become heirlooms of the family.

Anna is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Alison and Lloyd Leech, of Saint Matthews, SC; grandchildren Bill Norton, Ian Norton, Mellisa Chandler, Joseph Lane, Ashley Lane, Derick "Mia" Lane, and six great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband Otha William "Bill" Lane and a brother Lloyd Fletcher.

Funeral services will be in the Minerva United Methodist Church, 204 N. Main St. Minerva, at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 24th, 2015 with Rev. Harley Wheeler officiating.

Calling hours will be held Thursday 6 - 8 p.m. and Friday one hour before services at the Minerva United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Sunset Hills Memory Garden.
