Barbara June Grindstaff, 63, of Carrollton, passed away peacefully, April 10, 2016 in Carroll Healthcare Center, following an extended illness.
Born June 10, 1952 in Canton, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late Thomas A. and Mildred V. (Smith) Butler.
Barb's life was spent caring for her entire family. Taking the time to enjoy the day to day life of being a wife, mother and caregiver.
She is preceded in death by her first husband, Rick Yerger, son Ricky Yerger, sister Susan Butler, sisters Norma L. Butler, Elsie Scaglione. brothers Jim Butler and Douglas Ray Butler.
Barbara is survived by her second husband and caregiver, Ray G. Grindstaff; a daughter, Teresa R. (Ronald II) Bentley, of Carrollton; two sons Christopher D. Grindstaff (Ashley and Brenden Mynk), of Canton; Michael R. (Nikki) Grindstaff, of Carrollton; grandchildren, Ron III (Shawna) Bentley of East Sparta, Shawn (Megan) Bentley of Magnolia, Tyler Dodd and Kiley Grindstaff of Carrollton, Morgan and Spencer Grindstaff of Carrollton; great-grandchildren Allie and Reece Bentley of East Sparta, Jayden, Braxton, and Dallas Bentley of Magnolia; two sisters, Norma O. Cole, of Massillon, Rose (Ricky) Simmons of Malvern, five brothers, Paul (Ruth) Butler, of Carrollton; Wade Dean of Waynesburg; Thomas (Kathy) Butler, of North Carolina; Richard (Sheryl) Butler of Canton; David Butler of Malvern; aunt Delsie McKinney of Waynesburg; and uncle Frank Butler of Waynesburg. Barbara has an abundant amount of nieces and nephews.
Graveside services at will be held in Sandy Valley Cemetery, St. Route 183, Waynesburg, at 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 15, 2016 with Rev. Raymond Stanley officiating.
