CERNY, Bernadine E. "Bernie" of Waterford, MI, formerly of Carrollton, OH; went beautifully and peacefully surrounded by family and friends on June 22, 2016; age 87; preceded in death by her husband Emil and son Keith; mother of Maggie (Greg) Unkefer and Ken Cerny; grandmother of Jeremy, Joshua, Lacy, Makayla and Paris; sister of Marjorie Fishler, Barbara (Jim) Miller, Rita Misek; missed by her caregiver Cathy Zezula. Bernie was a secretary at School District 21 and enjoyed crafts and knitting and was a superb seamstress. She brought laughter and love to all who knew her.
