Obituary
Bernice "Bernie" Tennant, 86, of Minerva, went home to Jesus, Monday, August 8th, 2016.
Bernie was born in Minerva, OH on June 23, 1930, daughter of the late Herman and Marjorie (Weikart) Walker.
She was active in bowling leagues for over 30 years, was a member of T.O.P.S., delivered Meals on Wheels, volunteered at local nursing homes, and attended Minerva Church of the Nazarene.
Bernie is survived by a daughter, Norlene (Jeff) Gill, of Minerva; two sons Roger (Debra) Tennant, of Lake Helen, Fl; Doug (Sheryl) Tennant, of Minerva; grandchildren Matt (Pam) Tennant, Jason (Kristine) Tennant, Amanda Irving, Codie Tennant, Ginny (J. T.) Speelman, Brenton (Katie) Gill, Bethannie Tennant, Caroline Tennant; seventeen great-grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter; and a brother, James Walker.
She is preceded in death by the love of her life, Clyde E. Tennant; a son, Timothy, four sisters and one brother.
Funeral services will be held in the Bartley Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, August 12th, 2016 with Mr. John Speelman officiating. Calling hours will be Friday 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. at Bartley Funeral Home. Burial will be in Heritage Memorial Gardens.
