Betty Jane Marteney
76, of Malvern, Monday, Oct. 18, 2010, at Aultman Hospital following a long illness. Betty was born in Canton, Ohio, on Jan. 13, 1934, the daughter of the late Ralph and Nellie (Rice) Stackhouse. She was a member of First Christian Church of Malvern; and had worked as a Nurses' Aide at Molly Stark Hospital.
Betty is survived by two daughters, Roseann (Gary) Wigington of Malvern, Mary Jane (Pat) McMillin of Newton Falls; two sons, Robert (Teresa) Carmine of Malvern, Dan (Cheryl) Carmine of East Canton; seven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Marteney; and a granddaughter, Nicole Carmine.
Funeral Services will be held at the Bartley Funeral Home, at 1 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 22, 2010. Calling hours will be held Friday one hour prior to services at the Bartley Funeral Home. Burial will be in Moultrie Chapel Cemetery. Friends unable to attend may register online at our website:
