Betty Ann Trussell, 87, of Minerva, passed away Saturday, September 10th, 2011 at Crandall Medical Center.
Betty was born in New Matamoras, OH on July 3, 1924, the daughter of the late John and Kathryn (Kalb) Nealis.
She operated her own beauty shop in Minerva for many years, and later worked at Hoopes Florist and McDonalds.
She was a member of VFW Post 4120 Auxiliary, and the CWC at St. Gabriel Catholic Church. Betty was active in the Minerva Relay for Life and the American Cancer Society. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Minerva.
Betty is survived by two daughters, Mindy (Chuck) Doak of New Franklin, Missy Bradshaw of North Lewisburg, OH; two sons Marty (Nancy) Trussell of Kansas City, KS, Max (Edna) Trussell of Malvern, eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Bud Trussell in 1997, four brothers and three sisters.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 23, 2011 at the First Presbyterian Church, Minerva with Rev. Ben George officiating. Calling hours will be held one hour before services.
