Brexlee Ray Byrd was swept into the arms of Jesus when she was born sleeping at Summa Health System Akron Campus on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at 9:34 PM. Our lives were deeply touched by Brexlee's short time with us, a brief gift of pure love and joy. We are eternally grateful for the months spent preparing for her arrival in the precious moments we were able to have with her.

Brexlee is survived by her mother, Alaina Jackson of Minerva; her father Dylan Byrd of Massillon; her grandparents: Marvin and Jennifer Jackson of Minerva; special step-grandparents, Tom and Bretanya Francis; her aunts: Rebecca Jackson of Minerva and Michaela (Carter) Rice of Minerva; great-grandparents: Todd (Cheryl) Weirich of Paris; and other great aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Brexlee was preceded in death by great-grandparents: Larry and Hazel Jackson.

Her family was comforted by these verses found in Psalm 139:13-16 (NLT): "You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother's womb. Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous – how well I know it. You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion, as I was woven together in the dark of the womb. You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed."
