Carl Wayne Walter, 75, of Minerva, passed away Wednesday, November 2nd, 2016 at Green Meadows Health & Wellness Center, in Louisville after a courageous battle with Alzheimer's Disease.
Carl was born in Bayard, OH on September 22, 1941, a son of the late William Arthur and Goldie Marie (Reidl) Walter.
He was the owner of Carl's Trucking in Minerva.
Carl is survived by two daughters, Lynnette (Michael) Gallina, of North Canton; Karla (Kraig) Miller, of Minerva; three sons Jeffrey (Patty) Walter, of Minerva; Michael (Carolyn) Walter, of Kensington; Phillip (Lynn) Walter, of Kensington; grandchildren Deanna (Jordan) Cranor, Jake (Taylor Zwick) Walter, Luke (Sierra Bagshaw) Walter, Kiel (Jessica) Gallina, Karee (AJ Wooten) Walter, Kru Walter, Kyle (Sarah) Moore, Samantha (Brandon Morrow) Moore, Michael (Ashley) Baldwin, Samantha Walter, Pace (Josie White) Walter, Lanae Walter, Brodie Walter, Jaxson Walter, Josh Derlich; great-grandchildren Talon Baldwin, Evelynn Baldwin, Adalynn and Lainey Ahrens, Xavier Gallina, Colton, Roxlyn Morrow, Kenzie and Zayden Wooten, Titus Cranor; four sisters, Donna (Harold) Cowden, of South Carolina; Susie (Joe) Crone, of Minerva; Diana (Bill) Rodman, of Marion, Ohio; Debbie Durst, of Kensington; two brothers, Bob Walter, of Woodville; Bill (Nancy) Walter, of Robertsville; and his best four-legged friend, Rylie.
He is preceded in death by his wife Evelyn Marie (Hamilton) Walter.
Funeral services will be held at the Alliance Nazarene Church at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 7th, 2016 with Pastor Glen Davidson officiating. Calling hours will be Sunday 2 -4 & 7-9 at the Bartley Funeral Home in Minerva and one hour before services in the Alliance Nazarene Church. Burial will be in Moultrie Chapel Cemetery.
