Obituary
Clarence C. (Benny) Bennett, Sr., 95, of Malvern, passed away Sunday, September 20th, 2015 at The Arbors of Minerva.
Clarence was born in Tuscola, IL on October 19, 1919, a son of the late Clarence and Helen (Winter) Bennett.
He served in the U.S. Army Air Corp during WW II and retired from GBS.
Benny is survived by three daughters, Judy Taylor, of Malvern, Jill Harris, of Malvern, Joan (Bob) Campbell, of Malvern, a son, Hank Bennett, of Malvern; eight grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 72 years, Mary Gertrude (Schmidt) Bennett, a daughter-in-law Susie Bennett, granddaughter Tammy Bennett Rue, sons-in-law Bill Taylor and Kenneth Harris, and a sister Jane Lee Bachtel.
Funeral services will be held at the Deckman-Bartley Funeral Home at 6:00 pm on Wednesday, September 23rd, 2015 with Rev. Dale Boston officiating. Calling hours will be held Tuesday 2 - 4 & 6 - 8 pm. at Deckman-Bartley Funeral Home. Burial will be in Bethlehem Cemetery.
