Cynthia Jeanne Cope, age 66 of Kensington, passed away at her home on Wednesday, April 10, 2024. Cynthia was born in Ashtabula, Ohio on November 23, 1957 to Robert and Marjorie (Schopfer) Bricker.

Cynthia was a devoted homemaker whose greatest joys were found in the simple pleasures of life. Cynthia had a passion for music and spent many hours playing the piano, filling her home with beautiful melodies. She also had a green thumb and took great pride in tending to her vibrant garden of flowers. Family was at the center of Cynthia's world, and she cherished every moment spent with her loved ones.

Cynthia is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Stephen Cope of Kensington; daughters Jennifer Cope of East Rochester and Emily Cope of Columbiana; stepchildren: Scott and Brandi Cope; 11 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; and three sisters: Connie Cosgrove of Salem, Cathy DeMuth of Hanoverton, and Kim Cox of Salem.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Thomas Bricker.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, April 15, 2024, from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at Bartley Funeral Home, 205 West Lincoln Way, Minerva OH 44657.

Cynthia will be dearly missed by all who knew her, but her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those she touched with her kindness and love.
