David J Christen

David J. Christen, 60, of East Freedom, PA went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, after an extended illness. He was born in Alliance, OH on January 25, 1966, the son of Marilyn (Oyster) and the late Robert Christen. He married Lee Ann McIntyre in 2005.

Surviving are his wife of 20 years; his mother and brother, Mark and wife, Charlene all in Minerva OH.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Scott, in Minerva, OH.

David was a graduate of Minerva High School and obtained a B.S. at Grace College in Winona Lake, IN.

He worked at Park Hills Country Club, CSTU, and Ebensburg Center.

David was a lifetime attendee of Martinsburg Grace Brethren Church.

He loved playing golf and watching Ohio State Sports, especially football.

Friends will be received from 5-7 pm, Monday, March 30, 2026 at Martinsburg Grace Brethren Church. A funeral service will be held at 11 am, Tuesday, March 31, 2026 at Martinsburg Grace Brethren Church, with Pastor Brian McCall, officiating.

Private interment at Alto Reste Park.
