Diane Petrarca, 89, of Minerva, passed away Monday, November 21st, 2011 at Mercy Medical Center.

Diane was born in Bakersfield, CA on September 11, 1922, the daughter of the late Orville and Tabea (Breihan) Welsh.

She was a loving mother who worked as a nurse at TRW. She was a member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church and the Minerva Nurses Association.

Diane is survived by a daughter, Joanne (Tim) Martin of Spring, TX; three sons Richard (Amy) Petrarca of Canal Fulton, James (Karen) Petrarca of Canton, Joseph (Mary Jane) Petrarca of North Canton; grandchildren Kristen (Ross) Burton, Allison, Michael, Jason, Andrew, Joseph, Sydney.

She is preceded in death by her husband Anthony Petrarca in 1999.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Gabriel Catholic Church, at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, November 23rd, with Celebrant Victor Cinson.

Calling hours will be held Wednesday two hours before services in St. Gabriel Catholic Church. Burial will be in Heritage Memorial Gardens.
