C. Richard "Dick" Haubert, 81, of East Canton, passed away, Saturday, March 5th, 2011 at Crandall Medical Center, following a short illness.
Dick was born in East Canton, OH on January 10, 1930, the son of the late Carl V. and Wealthy (Dourm) Haubert.
Dick was a 1948 graduate of East Canton High School, a member of Christ Memorial Church. He was a member of Robertsville Grange #1784, Pamona Grange, and AARP. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
He worked at Stark Ceramic, Bridgestone/Firestone, in retail sales at JC Penny's and Kaufmann's was a Realtor with E. J. Plott Realty and was a driver for Davis Motorcoach Co.
Dick is survived by his wife, Martha Haubert; three daughters, Kaye Wealthy (Ken) Millard of Uniontown, Sharon Louise (Jeff) Schaefer of Minerva, Troynette Joan (Bill) Myers of North Lawrence; sister-in-law Mary Lu Haubert of East Canton; grandchildren Alex Kennedy, Andrew Kennedy, Kelvin Millard, Jamie Schaefer, Jeremy Schaefer, Tia Myers, Tara Myers; step-daughters Debra (Greg) Tallman of East Canton, Kathy (Dick) Schooley of Louisville, special step-son Steve Fowler of Nevada and three step-daughters, eleven step-grandchildren, three great-step-grandchildren
He is preceded in death by his beloved wife Barbara, brother Dale Haubert, and grandson Heath Schaefer.
Funeral Services will be held at the Bartley Funeral Home, Minerva, at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, March 9th, with Rev. Terry Bailey officiating. Calling hours will be held Tuesday, 5 - 8 pm and Wednesday one hour before services at the funeral home. Burial will be in Liberty Cemetery.
