Donald Wayne Johnson, 86, of Minerva, Ohio, passed away, Wednesday, January 1st, 2014 at Alliance Community Hospital, following a long illness.
Donald was born in Barberton, OH, OH on June 25, 1927, a son of the late Rudolph and Ethyl (Hill) Johnson.
He served in the U.S. Navy during WW II and was a product designer at Zimmer Patient Care in Dover.
Don is survived by his wife, Frances J. (Shotwell) Johnson; two step-daughters, Marcia (Larry) Tarbet, of McCormick, SC; Jan (Donald) Burchett, of Minerva; two step-sons Doug (Bonnie) Snively, of Homeworth; Brad (Sidney) Snively, of Dallas, TX; a sister, Bernice Swanson, of Frewsburg, NY; and a brother, Al Johnson, of Frewsburg, NY.
A Memorial Service will be held in the Bartley Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 9th, 2014 with Pastor Donald Pentz officiating. Calling hours will be held Thursday, one hour before services at the funeral home.
