Donald Lee McCord Jr., age 79 of East Rochester, passed away at Community Care Center on Thursday, November 4, 2021. Donald was born in Dover, Ohio on November 29, 1941 to the late Donald Sr. and Mildred (Simonsons) McCord.

Donald worked at Timken. He was a NRA-Life Member and The Wilds. He served in the Army and was a member of the American Legion. He was also a courier at Consumers National Bank.

Donald is survived by his wife of 30 years, Lucinda McCord of East Rochester; two sons: Erik of East Rochester and David (Melissa) of Navarre; two step-daughters: Margaret Marty of Big Timber MT and Amanda Hodges of Orrville; 5 grandchildren: Mason, Justise, Davin, Renee, and Michael; and a sister, Pamela Funkhouser of Canton.

Funeral service will be held at Bartley Funeral Home, 205 West Lincoln Way, Minerva, Ohio, on Monday, November 8, 2021 at 6:00 PM with Pastor Chester Miller of Victory Baptist Church officiating. Visitation will be held on Monday, November 8, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Bartley Funeral Home.
