Obituary
Donald J. Metzger, 85, of Carrollton, passed away Thursday, October 23rd, 2014 at Golden Age Retreat.
Donald was born in Bluffton, IN on March 10, 1929, a son of the late George J. and Grace (Hall) Metzger.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and later worked as a surveyor for the City of Owensboro, KY. He attended the Malvern United Methodist Church.
Donald is survived by a brother, Jerome (Jerry) Metzger, of Malvern; nephew Ronald Metzger of Stow, nieces Jody (Sam) Foley of Port Orange, FL, Dawn (Jared) Miller of Stow.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Neola (Jones) Metzger, two sisters and one brother.
Funeral Services will be held at the Deckman-Bartley Funeral Home, Malvern at 11:00 am on Monday, October 27th, 2014 with Rev. Allen Hill officiating. Calling hours will be Monday one hour before services at the funeral home. Burial will be in Grove Hill Cemetery.
