Dottie Ann Bechtel, age 61 of Minerva, passed away at The Merriman on Thursday, October 14, 2021. Dottie was born in Canton, Ohio on November 22, 1959 to Herbert William and Marjory Jean (Hannen) Burleson.

Dottie worked in the food service industry as a cook at Republic Steel and most recently at Kishman's IGA.

Dottie is survived by her two sons: Daniel (Kaydin Krahling) Bechtel of Minerva and Josiah Bechtel of Easley South Carolina; and a daughter, Shiloh (Dusty Sickle) Bechtel of Canton.

In addition to her parents, Dottie was preceded in death by two brothers: Randy Burleson and William Burleson; and a sister, Peggy Sue Barnes.

Funeral services will be held at Great Trail Community Church of God, 620 East Line Street, Minerva, Ohio, on Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Ray Martin of Great Trail Community Church of God officiating.  Burial will be at Heritage Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 19, 2021 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Great Trail Community Church of God.
