Douglas R. "Doug" Decker, 40, of Carrollton, died, Wednesday, March 9th, 2011 at Aultman Hospital, following a courageous battle with cancer..
Doug was born in Canton, OH on April 23, 1970, the son of Dave and Norma (Clapper) Decker of Malvern.
He was a member of New Life Christian Church in Waynesburg and enjoyed many water sports growing up at Lake Mohawk. He was a 1988 graduate of Malvern High School.
He was self-employed for twenty years as Decker Construction
Doug is survived by two sons Dakota Decker of Carollton, Drake Decker of Minerva; two brothers, David Decker II of Malvern., Dustin Decker of Malvern; sister-in-law Kelly Decker of Malvern; nieces Mallory and Payton Decker; grandmother Helen Decker of Canton, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
A Memorial Service will be held at New Life Christian Church, 139 Roosevelt St., Waynesburg, OH, at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, March 14th, 2011 with Mr. Pete Hall officiating. Calling hours will be held Monday 1 - 3 p.m. at New Life Christian Church. A private family burial will be held in Bethlehem Cemetery.
