Obituary
Edith Marie Barnes, 93, Louisville, passed away, Sunday, December 25th, 2016 at Jackson Ridge in Canal Fulton following a long illness.
Edith was born in Akron, Ohio on May 10, 1923, a daughter of the late Belva (Smith) and Michael Willey. She was the widow of Ralph Barnes.
She was a Housewife.
Edith is survived by two sons, Jeffrey (Wendy) of Ocala FL and Dwight (Geri) of Canton OH; one son-in-law, Raymond Zorger of Canton OH; one sister, Betty Grau of Louisville OH; five grandchildren, Mike (Karie) Barnes of Atlanta GA, Tracy (Peter) Oliver and Teri (Blake) Barrigar of Toronto, Canada, Lisa (Mike) Combs of Columbus OH, and John (Ruth) Barnes of Garrettsvile OH; and seven great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, Edith was also preceded in death by daughter, Julie Zorger.
Funeral services will be at the Hillside Cemetery Chapel at 11 a.m. on Thursday, December 29th, with Rev. George Leyda officiating. Calling hours will be held Thursday from 10 - 11 a.m. (one hour before services) at the Hillside Cemetery Chapel. Burial will be in Hillside Memorial Park.
Donations may be given to the Stark County Humane Society, P. O. Box 7077, Canton, Ohio 44705.
