Edward E. "Ed" Chidester, 52, of Carrollton, passed away suddenly, Thursday, July 7th, 2011 at Mercy Medical Center..
Edward was born in Somerset, Pennsylvania on September 11, 1958, the son of the late Charles and Clara (Mates) Chidester.
He was self-employed and a part-time mechanic.
Edward is survived by his long time companion Cindy Duffy who he loved dearly; three daughters, Kelly (Elliott) Metz of Uhrichsville, Jamie (Charlie) Lanzer of Uhrichsville, Laura Chidester of Uhrichsville; a step daughter, Rachelle Strums of Dellroy; a step son, Tobby Duffy of Dellroy; eight grandchildren; five sisters, Judy (Jim) Rugg of New Philadelphia, Dixie (Greg) Hole of Scio, Delores (Roger) Brocht of Rockwood, PA, Lorraine Moore of Maryland, Sissy (John) Rowley of Jamesville, WI; a brother, John Chidester of Virginia.
He is preceded in death by his parents, a brother Jimmy Chidester, an infant brother Robert grandson Joseph.
Calling hours will be held Monday 6-8 PM. at the Deckman-Bartley Funeral Home, Malvern. Graveside Services will be held in Addison Cemetery, Addison, PA.
