Obituary
Edwina B. "Eddie" Owens, 87, of Malvern, passed away, Thursday, April 3rd, 2014 at Brewster Parke, following a long illness.
Edwina was born in Elizabeth, WV on August 28, 1926, a daughter of the late William and Laura (Rader) Owens.
She managed the state liquor store for seventeen years. She was a member of the Women of the Moose Chapter 290, a social member VFW 5047, Navarre, and a volunteer at the Carroll County Humane Society.
Edwina is survived by a step son, James C. Gano, of Schoolcraft, MI; many nieces and nephews, her favorite niece Carolyn Zuver. She is preceded in death by her husband, James Gano; two brothers, three sisters, two half-sisters and one half-brother, and friend and companion Al Greco.
Funeral services will be held at the Deckman-Bartley Funeral Home, Malvern at 11:00 am on Tuesday, April 8th, 2014. Calling hours will be held Tuesday one hour before services. Burial will be in Dover Burial Park.
