Obituary
Elizabeth Ann (Betty) Barnes, 78, of Kensington, passed away, Sunday, November 24th, 2013 at the home of her daughter.
Elizabeth was born in Braddock, PA on July 3, 1935, a daughter of the late William N. and Mary W. (Himple) Weber.
She worked as a dietary cook at East Carroll Nursing Home for 35 years.
Elizabeth is survived by two daughters, Cindy L Miller, of Robertsville; Kay L Johnson, of Robertsville; eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; and a brother, Karl (Leona) Weber, of Hanoverton.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Gene L. Barnes; sons Gene Jr., and David Barnes; a daughter Sharon Poffenberger, brothers Jack and Robert Weber, a brother George (Bill) Sharrard and many nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Christian Life Center, Minerva, at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, November 27th, 2013 with Pastor Tim Gropp officiating.
