Elizabeth "Betty" M. Barnes, 93, of Malvern, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Thursday morning, March 23rd, 2017 in Mercy Medical Center.

Betty was born in Malvern, OH on November 27, 1923, a daughter of the late Walter and Hazel (Logan) Pariso.

Though the last few years she resided at Carroll Health  Care Center in Carrolton, Betty remained mobile into her late eighties, driving her car, so that she could enjoy her love of card playing, bingo, and just being around people.  She was a life-long member of Malvern United Methodist Church and often told stories going back to the days of "Penny Dinners."

Betty is survived by many nieces and nephews.  She is preceded in death by brothers Robert "Bob", Walter Allen "Jim,", Jr., John Logan "Chick," and William and sister Iva Jane Ujcich.

Funeral services will be held in Deckman-Bartley Funeral Home, Malvern at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 27th, 2017 with Rev. Frank Zugaro and Rev. Alan Hill officiating. Calling hours will be Sunday 4 - 6 p.m. in  Deckman-Bartley Funeral Home.  Burial will be in  Bethlehem Cemetery.
