Ernest Kim Asher, age 69 of East Sparta, passed away at Mercy Medical Center on Sunday, November 21, 2021. Ernest was born in Coshocton, Ohio on August 26, 1952 to Wendell Adams and Sarah Beth Asher.

Ernest worked for Trelleborg Wheel System. He enjoyed music and playing the organ. He especially enjoyed trains.

Ernest is survived by his wife of 42 years, Tamilynn Asher of East Sparta; three sons: Bryan (Lura) of Massillon, Mike (Traci) of Canton, Christopher (Jennifer) of Austintown; a daughter, Jennifer (Kent) of Northfield; 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; his father, Wendell (Dorothy) Adams of Columbus; three sisters: Amy (Rod) Wilson of Hallstead KS, Sherry (Jim) Richard of Peabody KS, and Becky (Greg) Cooney of TN; and a brother, Doug Adams of Columbus.

In addition to his mother, Ernest was preceded in death by his two brothers, Rick Fordyce and Mike Adams.

Memorial service will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, 205 Harrison Street, Magnolia, Ohio, on Thursday, December 2, 2021, at 2 PM with Rev. Andrew Riggs and Rev. A Wallace Anderson, officiating.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Magnolia Lutheran Church organ fund.
