Obituary
Everett R. Hays, 97, of Sebring, passed away, Monday, November 2nd, 2015 at Crandall Medical Center.
Everett was born in Salineville, OH on August 29, 1918, a son of the late Thomas R. and Olive (Williams) Hays.
He graduated in 1938 from Wellsville High School. He was the oldest living member of Bethel Presbyterian Church in Salineville.
He was a maintenance mechanic at the Kennedy Space Center and owned the Hays Auto Service in Summitville from 1947 - 1963. He was a 32 degree Mason in the Salineville Lodge. He and his wife made several trips around the world, and traveled to every state in the United States except Alaska.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Janet E. (Rowley) Hays, son Larry E. Hays, sister Evelyn Rose, brother Wilbur Hays, and brother Donald Hayes.
Everett is survived by a daughter, Sondra (Gary) Lindesmith, of Louisville; two sons W. Lloyd Hays, of Minerva, OH; W. Floyd (Judy) Hays, of Minerva, OH; nine grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren.
A private funeral service will be held at a later date.
