Faye Eileen Pearson, age 89 of Minerva, passed away at Community Care Center on Saturday, October 23, 2021. Faye was born in Minerva, Ohio on September 25, 1932 to Wilbur Pearson and Dorothy (Shaw) Pearson.

Faye graduated from Malone University with a Bachelor's degree in Music. She played a variety of instruments, including the organ, piano, dulcimer, vibraharp, and spoons. She taught private organ and piano lessons for many years. She played the organ for the Bartley Funeral Home and at many different churches in the area. She worked at Pearson Auto Parts as a bookkeeper/parts clerk. Faye had a private pilot's license and enjoyed flying for 15 years. For many years she participated in the Gee-Haw shows. She was active with the Algonquin Mill for 40 years. Faye traveled the world by participating in more than 17 short-term mission trips.

Faye is survived by a brother, Norman (Duchess) Pearson; and many nieces and a nephew: Regena (Brad) Bowman, Bryan (Georgann) Vosi, Lynette (Roger) Fessenmeyer, Valorie (Greg) Herman, Cindy (Dale) Brink, Amy (Martin) Schreyer, Jennie (Daryl) Yeager, and Laurie (Don) Ward.

In addition to her parents, Faye was preceded in death by a sister, Vivian J Vosi.

Funeral service will be held at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church, 5320 Arrow Road, Minerva, Ohio, on Thursday, October 28, 2021 at 1:00 PM with Rev. John Carpenter of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 28, 2021 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church. All of the current CDC guidelines will be followed.
