Floyd Paul Stephens, 76, of Carrollton., passed away Thursday, October 27th, 2011 at his home following along illness.
Floyd was born in Barnesville, Ohio on March 14, 1935, the son of the late Paul Stephens and Lucy Stephens-Carpenter.
He served in the U.S. Army and worked as a crane operator at Republic Steel. He attended Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church.
Floyd is survived by his wife Margaret (Randal) Stephens; three daughters, Pauline (Bernard) Burkhart of Kensington, Barbara (Tim) Fisher of Massillon, Debbie (Keith) Bricker of Massillon; two sons Michael (Fawn) Stephens of Carrollton, Mark Stephens of Corriganville, MD; twelve grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mary Burdett of Barnesville, Betty Bell of Teton, Idaho; and a step brother, Jon Arnold of Barnesville.
He is preceded in death by his first wife Helen B. Stephens in 2004, a son Floyd Paul Stephens, Jr., brother Vernon Stephens, sister Neva Watson, grandson Levi Burkhart, and daughter-in-law Teri Stephens.
Funeral Services will be held at the Deckman-Bartley Funeral Home, Malvern at 11:00 am on Tuesday, November 1st, 2011 with Rev. Mark Thomas officiating. Calling hours will be held Monday 7 - 9 pm. at the Deckman-Bartley Funeral Home. Burial will be in Bethlehem Cemetery.
