George Wayne Campbell, Sr., 73, of Carrollton, passed away Wednesday, December 29th, 2010 at his home.

George was born in Canton, on March 28, 1937, the son of the late Harvey W and Dorothy (Kill) Campbell.

He worked at TRW for 18 years and retired, he also worked as a press operator for 11years at IncaPallet

George is survived by five daughters, Lana S Rush of Dalton, Rebecca A (Gary) Nutter of Dalton, Barbara J Kruprzak of Dover, Nancy Lynn Campbell of Dennison, Melissa Bullock of Dennison; four sons George W (Boonie) Campbell Jr. of Waynesburg, Larry W (Joan) Campbell of Canton, Rocky A (Jamie) Campbell of Magnolia, Richard L (Jennifer) Campbell of Bowerston; 22 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren; a sister, Hazel Newhouse of Canton; and two brothers, Ira Campbell of Carrollton, and Harvey Campbell of Alliance. Close friend Evelyn H. Petrime of the home.

He is preceded in death by his parents, one sister, three half-sisters, one half-brother and a grandson Matthew Maley.

Graveside services will be held at Liberty Cemetery at 1:00 p.m. , Tuesday, January 4, 2011, with Aultman Chaplain , Paul Rudy officiating.
