Gilda Louise Willison, age 93 of Navarre, passed away at Aultman Compassionate Care Center on Friday, March 25, 2022. Gilda was born in Salineville, Ohio on March 17, 1929 to William and Florence (Gross) Thompson.

Gilda graduated from Minerva High School in 1947. She spent most of her career as a nurse's aide. Gilda was an avid reader, enjoyed cooking, cleaning, and playing cards. She was well known for her quick wit and fantastic sense of humor. Gilda's greatest love was that of her family.

Gilda is survived by a daughter, Tammy Willison of Navarre; 4 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Gilda was preceded in death by her first husband, William Penick; her second husband, Thomas Willison; son, Ronald Penick; daughter, Patricia Define; and companion of over 20 years, Thomas Elliott.

Funeral service will be held at Deckman-Bartley Funeral Home, 434 West Main Street, Malvern, on Friday, April 1, 2022, at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at Bethlehem Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 1, 2022, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
