Helen L Smith
Helen L Smith, 85, of Malvern, passed away, Friday, June 21st, 2013 at her home, following a long illness.
Helen was born in Canton, on April 28, 1928, a daughter of the late John and Priscilla (Dicko) Russ.
She was a member of St. Martin Lutheran Church in Malvern, and was active in the Good Sam's Club.
She had worked as a finisher at TRW.
Helen is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, William "Bill" Smith; three daughters, Judith (Richard) Brink, of Del Norte, CO; Carol Covert, of Hermistin, OR; Cathy (Tom) Dunn, of Malvern; six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. She was a loving grandmother to many who knew her.
She is preceded in death by brothers John Russ, Charles Russ, and a sister Genevieve Lewis,
Funeral Services will be held at the Deckman-Bartley Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m on Tuesday, June 25th, 2013 with Rev. A. Wallace Anderson officiating. Calling hours will be Monday 2 - 4 & 6 - 8 p.m. at Deckman-Bartley Funeral Home. Burial will be in Bethlehem Cemetery.
Also, in lieu of flowers, the family is asking that contributions may be made to Community Hospice, 716 Commercial Ave. SW, New Philadelphia, Ohio 44663.
