Hilda Alverda Lambert, 81, of Malvern, passed away Tuesday, January 3rd, 2017 peacefully, at The Aultman Compassionate Care Center Woodlawn.
Hilda was born in Elkins, WV on May 17, 1935, a daughter of the late Nellie (Tingler) Wilmoth and John Tenney. She was a graduate of Parsons High School in Parsons, WV.
She was a member of Malvern United Methodist Church where she was active in the United Methodist Women.
Hilda was a returns clerk at Peoples Merchant Bank retiring in 1978.
Hilda is survived by her husband of 63 years, Hansel Luther Lambert; four daughters, Constance L. (Jeff) Crowl, of Malvern; Karen L. (James) Rodgers, of Malvern; Kathy E. (Bruce) Clapper, of Malvern; Patricia R. (Gordon) Isenhour, of Minerva; ten grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Hilda is preceded in death by her parents; step-father Russel Wilmoth; sisters Halena Bonner and Hazel Champ; brothers Roger Cottrell and Louis Adamson.
Funeral service will be held in the Malvern United Methodist Church, 121 W Wood St, Malvern, OH , at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 7th, 2017 with Rev. Frank Zugaro and Rev. Alan Hill officiating. Calling Hours Saturday 10 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. in the Malvern United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Bethlehem Cemetery.
