Ida Elizabeth Cumpson, age 94 of Minerva, passed away at St. Luke Lutheran Community of Minerva on Thursday, June 9, 2022. Ida was born in Canton, Ohio on December 29, 1927 to Walter E and Florence H (Neff) Kropp.

Ida was of the Methodist faith. She worked as a cashier at the IGA. She was a member of the Minerva YMCA.

Ida is survived by one son: Richard (Mary) Lloyd of Massillon; three step-sons: Michael (Lucia) Cumpson of White Post VA, Douglas (Jessica) Cumpson of Lawrenceville GA, and Patrick Cumpson of Mentor; one daughter: Kaye (Ana Rey) Lloyd of Tampa FL; three step-daughters: Kathleen (James) Crawford of Massillon, Carol (Butch) Lowery of Braselton GA, and Connie (Rick) Robinson of Temple TX; and many grandchildren and great-grandcihldren.

In addition to her parents, Ida was preceded in death by her husband, Dale Duane Cumpson; two step-sons: Danial Cumpson and Kevin Cumpson; and a step-daughter: Peggy Bell.

Per her request, there will be no services.
