Jack Presley Au, age 77 of New Philadelphia, passed away at his residence on Wednesday, November 27, 2019. Jack was born in Mansfield, Ohio on December 8, 1941 to William Kenneth Sr and Nixola (Calhoon) Au.

Jack served in the Navy.  At one time, Jack worked in an underground copper mine.  He drove truck and worked as a locksmith.  He also enjoyed woodworking.

Jack is survived by his wife, Lois Au of Dover; two daughters: Paula (Tadd) Hardy of New Philadelphia and Angela Birkholz of Jacksonville FL; 4 grandchildren: Katarina Hardy, Caitlyn Hardy, Dakota Birkholz, and Dillon Birkholz; a sister Jenne (Sanford) Williams of North Ft Myers FL; and a sister-in-law, Rosealene Au of Mansfield.

In addition to his parents, Jack was preceded in death by a brother, William Kenneth Au Jr, and two sisters: Luana Gregory and Judy Pearl Au.

Funeral service will be held at Bartley Funeral Home, 205 West Lincoln Way, Minerva, Ohio, on Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow at Heritage Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 3, 2019 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Bartley Funeral Home.
