Jacob Daniel Maskaluk , age 27 of Minerva, passed away unexpectedly in his home on Wednesday, October 8, 2025. Jacob was born in Salem, Ohio on January 12, 1998 to Mark and Teresa (Alderman) Maskaluk.

Jacob loved the Internet, playing video games, history, and his cat, Rosey.

In addition to his parents, Jacob is survived by his sister, Stephanie (Daniel) Stanley of Shaker Heights; brother, Sean (Kaydence Perry) Maskaluk of Ravenna; grandmother Carlene Mitchell of Orfordville, WI; uncle, George (Phyllis) Maskaluk of Salineville; aunt, Tammie Alderman of Ordfordville, WI; and his lifelong friend, Ricky Hall.

He is preceded in death by grandparents, George and Margie Maskaluk, Horace Alderman, and an uncle, Michael Alderman.

Funeral services will be held at the Bartley Funeral Home, 205 West Lincoln Way, Minerva, Ohio, on Wednesday, October 15, 2025 at 11:00 AM with Chaplain Phillip Lohmeyer officiating. Burial will follow at East Lawn Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, October 14, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Bartley Funeral Home.
