Obituary
James Leonard Hood, 62, of Minerva, OH, passed away, Monday, November 2nd, 2015 in his home surrounded by family.
James was born in El Paso, TX on October 16, 1953, a son of the late James J and Violet P (Bogar) Hood.
He retired from the U. S. Army after twenty years, and then worked as a Fiber Transport Engineer at Alltel and also worked for Verizon. He was an active member of the Carrollton Amateur Radio Club.
James is survived by his wife, Kathryn (Titch) Hood; two sons James (Lesley) Hood, of St. Clairsville; Charles Hood, of Minerva; granddaughters Kayla Hood, Mindy Hood, Brookelyn McGonagale; a sister, Vickie (Alfonso) Arango, of New Brunswick, New Jersey; a brother, William (Kari) Hood, of Austintown.
His wishes were to be cremated. There are no services.
