Earnest James "Jim" Swiney, 57, of Mechanicstown, passed away Friday, August 25th, 2017 in his home following a short, courageous battle with cancer.
Earnest was born in Canton, OH on October 20, 1959, a son of the Mr. and Mrs. Earnest J. Swiney.
Jim was a member of the Carrollton FOE, a social member of the Amsterdam VFW, a social member at the Vets Club,
He was a truck driver, an oil field worker, a driver for Waste Management and an avid fisherman. He had a heart the size of a muskie.
His wishes were to be cremated. There are no services.
