Jeffery Lynn Kinsey, age 61, a lifetime resident of Augusta, went to heaven on Thursday February 22, 2018, at Altercare of Alliance after a short battle with cancer.  Jeffery was born in Canton, Ohio on January 29, 1957, to the late Lafayette Kinsey and Betty (Totten) Kinsey.

Jeff resided in his childhood home in Augusta for most of his life.  He was a member of Augusta Christian Church.  He had a gentle quiet soul with a huge heart especially for his family and friends.  He enjoyed drinking a beer and enjoying life to the fullest.  Jeff is fondly remembered by his family for being a quiet gentle loving dad, grandpa, great grandpa, brother, uncle, great uncle, cousin and friend.

He worked as a truck driver at Regal Metal and Zeedrich Trash disposal and most recently at Minerva Tire Recycling.

He is survived by his son TJ Kinsey and wife Dawn, granddaughter Ashton, and great-grandson Matthew Kinsey all of Augusta; one sister Sandy (Paul Jr) Cox of Carrollton, four nephews; great nephews and nieces; and several cousins on his Kinsey side, including Donnie Locke of Minerva who was like a big brother to Jeff having growing up beside one another in Augusta and cousins Jim and Terri Ossler of Augusta whom Jeff was also close with later in life.

He is proceeded in death by his parents, his maternal and paternal grandparents, uncles Tommy Kinsey, George Kinsey, and William Kinsey, aunts Christina Kinsey Ossler, Pauline Kinsey Brown, Mary (Kinsey) Turnipseed, Dorothy (Aunt Doots) Kinsey Locke who was like a second mom to Jeff, Emma Kinsey Rhodes, and Evelyn Kinsey.

Jeff's wishes were to be cremated.  His memorial service will be held March 11 ^th , 2018 at 1:00 pm at the Minerva VFW.  Everyone who loved Jeff is welcome to attend.
