Obituary
John Daniel Birney, 85, of Malvern, passed away suddenly at his home, Monday, January 12th, 2015.
John was born in Malvern, OH on October 12, 1929, a son of the late Daniel J. and Pearl (Davy) Birney.
He was a member of Baxter Ridge United Methodist Church and had worked as a kilncar repairman at Whitacre-Greer.
John is survived by a sister, Sarah Hatch, of Hubbard; a brother, James (Dorothy) Birney, of Minerva; and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by three sisters, Charity Stamm, Eleanor Venables and Catherine Morris.
Funeral services will be at the Bartley Funeral Home, at 11:00 am on Thursday, January 15th, 2015. Calling hours will be Thursday, one hour before services. Burial will be in Bethlehem Cemetery.
