Joyce Shoenfelt
72, of Minerva, was escorted by angels into the awesome presence of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, June 16, 2010.
Joyce was born in Greentown, Ohio on July 25, 1937, the daughter of the late Herbert and Alma (Hornaday) Rutan.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John E. Shoenfelt, and son, David. Joyce will be deeply missed by three daughters, Bobbi (Tillison) Stewart of Flushing, Sissy (Charles) Johnson of Louisville, Punky Nice of Minerva; a son, Terry (Lesile) Shoenfelt of Lenora, N.C.; a stepdaughter, Lenna (Frederick) Kinney of New Lexington; a stepson, Danny Khun of Canton; 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; longtime mate, Marion "Butch" Mauller; and cousin, Verna Friend.
A gathering will be held, Saturday, June 26, 2010 at 2 p.m. at 3516 Beck Ave. NE, Louisville, Ohio where Joyce's life will be celebrated. Friends unable to attend may register online at our website:
