Katherine "Karen" Louise Oberlin, age 55 of Minerva, passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2020. Karen was born in Canton, Ohio on July 5, 1964 to William and Barbara (Pozeynot) Hamilton.

Karen worked as a nail technician. She loved to read and making crafts. She enjoyed flowers and the beach with sand and sun.

Karen is survived by a son, Ryan (Taylor) Oberlin of Minerva, OH; two daughters: Ashlee (David) Church of Paris and Alexis (William) Beaudry of Canton; her mother, Barbara Hamilton of Paris; three sisters: Connie (William Kutz) Hamilton of Paris, Lorie (Marc Ellis) Smalley of East Rochester, and Hollie (Jeff Henson) Hamilton of Robertsville; grandchildren: Emmalee Church, Mollee Church, Lincoln Church, David Church, Isaiah Church, Lola Oberlin, Rhett Oberlin, Owen Beaudry, and Bella Beaudry; and many nieces and nephews.

Karen was preceded in death by her father, William Hamilton.

Funeral service will be held at Bartley Funeral Home, 205 West Lincoln Way, Minerva, Ohio, on Friday, May 29, 2020 at 11:00 AM with Fr. Victor Cinson of St. Gabriel Catholic Church officiating.  Burial will follow at Liberty Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 28, 2020 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Bartley Funeral Home.  All of the current social distancing and building occupancy rules will be observed.  Face masks will be available for those who desire them.
