Katharine Johanna Buehman, age 89 of Minerva, passed away at Blossom Nursing and Rehabilitation on Monday, January 23, 2023. Katharine was born in Heidelberg, Pennsylvania on May 13, 1933 to Ernest Henry and Mary Catherine (Reed) Buehman.

She attended the Israel's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Paris Ohio. She worked in the banking industry. She had a love for animals. She loved spending time with her church family. She enjoyed listening to music, especially the organ music played at church. After she retired, she was a caretaker for her family.

Katharine is survived by three nieces: Kimberly (Robert) Howell of Minerva, Elissa (Sean) Smith of Hilton Head SC, and Chris Austin of Akron; three nephews: Chris (Tricia) Reed of Minerva, Terry (Nicole) Reed of Steubenville, and John Buehman Jr of Alliance; a sister, Stephanie Reed of Uniontown; a brother Richard Kollar of Newman GA; and friends at Blossom Nursing.

In addition to her parents, Katharine was preceded in death by two brothers: Ernest Buehman and John Buehman; a nephew, Brit Reed, and a niece, Lisa Reed.

Memorial service will be held at a later date at Israel's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 376 Paris Avenue SE, Paris, Ohio.
