Larry Jay Partain

Larry Jay Partain, age 66 of Malvern, passed away unexpectedly at Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospial in Canton on Sunday, April 14, 2024.  Larry was born in Greenfield, IN on January 26, 1958 to Donald and Margaret (Foust) Partain.

Larry served in the Navy.  He worked at the Newport News  Shipyard in Newport News, VA and also as a mechanic at several different facilities. He loved NASCAR and the Miami Dolphins as well as other sports.  He enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren.

Those left to cherish his memories are his sons: Brian (Nicole) of Malvern, Marcus (Trisha) Jackson, and Tyler of Newport News VA; grandchildren: Lovelyn, Gabriel, Zoe, Madalyn, Alana, Sara, and Ethan; brothers: Ronald (Terri) of Newport News, VA and Dennis (Brenda) of Anderson IN; Daughter-in-law, Alexis Drummond of Williamsburg VA; Sister-in-law, Shelly Partain of Jacksonville NC; Aunts: Esther Beason of Spokane WA and Bernice Partain of Noblesville IN; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by brothers, Gary and Terry Joe; and Sister-in-law, Nadine

The memorial and burial will be held at Albert G. Horton , Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery, Suffolk, VA at a later date.
