Obituary
Laura Frances Mitchell, 63, of East Canton, passed away on Saturday, January 16th, 2016 in Aultman Hospital.
Laura was born in Chickapee, MA on July 26, 1952, a daughter of the late Joe and Frances (Kuklinski) Williams.
She was an LPN who worked at Great Trail Family Care Center, Carroll Healthcare Center, and Oakhill Nursing Home.
She had a great love for books, gardening, art, music, bird-watching. She had considered a life in the Peace Corp before having a family. She loved Mother Teresa.
Laura is survived by her husband, Kenneth L. Mitchell; two daughters, Jennifer (Kevin) Lowe, of Canton; Kristy (John) Featheringham, of Carrollton; three sons William (Tracy) Stone, of Canton; Joey (Corrin) Stone, of Canton; Sonny (Jennifer) Mitchell, of Malvern; 19 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren; two brothers, David Williams, of Aurora, IL; Aaron Williams, of Aurora, IL.
She is preceded in death by a brother Bobby Williams.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Deckman-Bartley Funeral Home, at 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 22, 2016. Calling hours will be held, Thursday, 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
