Obituary

Marjorie Jean Stollar, age 89 of Malvern, passed away at Arbors in Minerva on Friday, July 6, 2018. She was born in West Alexander, Pennsylvania on June 20, 1929 to Charles and Inez (Simpson) Wallace.

Marjorie worked in the banking industry for 30 years and was a member of the First Christian Church of Malvern. She was involved in the Rotary Club of Malvern, Habitat for Humanity, and Alpha Sorosis. She also enjoyed quilting and spending time with her grandchildren.

Majorie is survived by her daughter, Tena Stollar, of Kensington, Tena's children: son, Joshua (Amity) Stollar and their children Landon and Liam of Monclova, Ohio; daughter, Christen (Gregg) Chandler and their son, Jack of Newport News VA.

She is also survived by her daughter-in-law, Elaine Stollar, of Winfield WV, Elaine's children: daughter, Sarah (Chris) Haddox and their children Grant, Megan, Clara, and Elise of Huntington WV; and daughter, Rachael (Nikolas) Schuhbeck of Brooklyn NY.

In addition to her parents, Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband Willis Stollar; her son, Richard Stollar; a brother, Lloyd Wallace; and a sister Lucille Limbert.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. in the West Finley Cemetery, 398 Burnsville Ridge Road, Claysville PA on Thursday, July 12, 2018. Calling hours will be Wednesday, July 11, 2018 from 5 – 8 pm in the Deckman-Bartley Funeral Home, 434 West Main Street, Malvern Ohio.
