Maxine Betty Cox
Maxine Betty Cox, 92, of Minerva, passed away, Friday, September 28th, 2012 while in the company of family members at her home.
Maxine was born in Newton Falls, OH on June 11, 1920, the daughter of the late William A. and Roxie E. (Summers) Gugelman.
She was a member of Entre Nous, Great Trail Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution, and the Minerva United Methodist Church.
Maxine is survived by a daughter, Sandy J Cox of Manhattan Beach CA; a brother, Albert W (Dorothy) Gugelman of Prescott, AZ; grandchildren Robert H. (Luz-Eugenia) Cox, Jr. of Columbia, SC, Daria (Mark) Curtner of Sidney, OH, Venae M. Banner of Minerva, Adam P. (Jessie) Mueller of Minerva; sixteen great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband Robert L Cox, a son Robert Henry Cox, daughter Polly Ann Mueller, and grandson Lindsey Randall Cox.
Graveside services were held in East Lawn Cemetery on Monday, October 1st, 2012 with Chaplain Larry Karlan officiating. Burial was in East Lawn Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the VA Medical Center, Attn: Volunteer Service Office, 10701 East Blvd., Cleveland, OH 44106.
