Michael Joseph Hinton Sr

Michael Joseph Hinton Sr, age 81 of Carrollton, passed away at his home on Friday, May 8, 2026. Michael was born in Owensboro, Kentucky on March 23, 1945 to the late Paul A. and Elizabeth (Morris) Hinton.

Michael worked in the oil industry. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed working in his vegetable garden. He was very handy making beautiful items using his woodworking skills.

Michael is survived by his wife of 60 years Debbie Hinton of Carrollton; a daughter, Michelle (Keith) Mayle; a son, Michael Hinton Jr. of Newcomerstown; grandchildren: Christopher (Jessica), Allie, Cole(Jayde) , Kyle, Rachel, and Chloe; a great-grandchild, Rory; a sister, Paula Fricht of Evansville IN; two brothers: Jimmy (Judy) Hinton of Galion and Steven (Faye) Hinton of Whitesville, KY.

Per his request, there will be no services.
