Michael James Howell

Michael James Howell, age 65 of Malvern, passed away at Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital on Saturday, October 24, 2026. Michael was born in Canton, Ohio on February 19, 1961 to Linda (Yeager) and the late Galen Howell.

Mike along with his wife, Beth, owned Café on the Corner in Malvern. Mike enjoyed watching sports, especially the Cleveland Browns. He also was an avid reader, particularly history books. He enjoyed the outdoors spending time fishing and gardening. He loved his cats. And of course, he really enjoyed spending time with his family. And most importantly, he loved the Lord.

Mike is survived by his wife of 46 years, Beth Howell of Malvern; a son, Michael J (Diya) Howell of Munroe Falls; two daughters: Wendy (A.J. Peoples) Howell of Cleveland and Jennifer Howell of Malvern; grandchildren: Madeline and Thomas; his mother, Linda Howell of Carrollton; a sister, Margi (Rick Hepner) Howell of Carrollton; sister-in-law, Michella Howell of Vail, AZ; multiple cousins, nieces, and nephews.

In addition to his father, Michael was preceded in death by a brother, Matthew J Howell; and a sister, Mary Jane Howell.
