Obituary
Michael Jacob Shattuck, Sr., 63, of Carrollton, passed away Saturday, October 17th, 2015 in Oceola Missouri from injuries suffered in a truck accident.
Michael was born in Canton, OH on June 10, 1952, a son of Mabel Luella (Lowther) Shattuck, of Malvern and the late Jimmy Lee Shattuck.
He was a truck driver for O & S Trucking and had served in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was raised as a member of the Church of Christ.
Michael is survived by a son, Michael (Laura) Shattuck, Jr., of Copperas Cove, TX; significant other, Lucy Bert; a sister, Laurie (Bruce) Wilson, of Malvern. a brother, Scott Shattuck, of Malvern; grandchildren Amber (Randy) Sears and Megan Dennis; great-grandsons Kaiden and Logan Sears; uncle Byron (Arlene) Lowther of Massillon, aunt Janice (Tim Osborne) Nichols; many nieces and nephews who he loved dearly.
He is preceded in death by his father, brothers Jeff and David Shattuck, and a sister Susan Simmons.
Funeral services will be held at the Deckman-Bartley Funeral Home at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, October 23rd, 2015 with Pastor Marty Martin officiating. Calling hours will be held Friday 3:00 - 4:00 p. m. at the funeral home.
