Norma Jean Miller, 76, of Minerva, passed away peacefully, Sunday, September 25th, 2016 in her home.
Norma was born in Mineral City, Ohio on September 7, 1940, a daughter of the late Raymond P. and Bertha M. (Fiddler) Sprankle.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, and homemaker.
She was active on bowling leagues in East Sparta and Minerva and loved watching her granddaughter play soccer and run track.
Norma is survived by a daughter, Lisa J. Miller, of Minerva and a son, Paul R. (Kimberly) Miller Jr., of Minerva; grandchildren: Julia Miller, and special grandchildren Joshua Casper and Heather Casper; a sister, Louise M. Kennison, of New Philadelphia and a brother, Elvin L. (Judith) Sprankle, of New Philadelphia.
Norma was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Paul Robert Miller, Sr. in January 2016. She is also preceded in death by a son Raymond Miller, brothers: Raymond, Paul, David, Charles, George, Kenneth Sprankle, sisters: Carmadean Sprankle, Ruth Ann Day, Mary Jane Young, Eveline Rainsberg, Freda Rainsberg, Ida Shonk, Myrtle Rainsberg.
Funeral Services will be held at the Bartley Funeral Home, Minerva, at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, September 29th, 2016 with Rev. A Wallace Anderson officiating. Calling hours will be Thursday 5-7 PM. Following cremation, burial will be in Bethlehem Cemetery.
